History

Nirmal Jyothi Technical Institute was founded in 1993 by the DAUGHTERS OF MARY HELP OF CHRISTIANS commonly known as the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, a world wide congregation, working in 85 countries for the education of the young girls with preference to those of the working classes at every stage of their development.

Nirmal Jyothi Technical Institute is a minority Institution and is affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India, New Delhi; (N.C. V.T). The Institute not only provides formal courses. It also provides Non-Formal Courses. Institute also provides Technical Short Term Courses with Nirmal Jyothi Institute Certification.

The Motto of Institute is "INCLUDE THE EXCLUD".

Our institute follows the educative system of St. John Bosco based on Reason, Religion and Loving kindness, where the trainee is the protagonist of her own formation. The educating community consists of parents, teachers, trainees and management. We work together for the holistic development of the trainee in a family atmosphere. Nirmal Jyothi has created an infrastructure that surpasses most institutions in providing an ambience conducive to teaching and learning.

The Aim of our Institute is to educate in a family atmosphere in order to prepare: Intellectually enlightened, Spiritually profound, Emotionally balanced, Socially committed, Morally responsible and Technically employable young men and women who can play competent, critical and creative roll in the society.
