Industrial Visit 2025

On Saturday30th August 2025, the students and staff of Quest Allianz organized an industrial visit to enhance their practical knowledge and gain real-time exposure to industry functioning. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical applications.

The first stop was at Decathlon, a leading sports retail chain known for its wide range of sporting goods. Ms. Githa warmly welcomed the students and guided them into the store. She explained in detail about the functioning of the retail sector, including stock management, product categorization, customer service, sales strategies, and store operations. Students also observed how technology and teamwork play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth functioning of such a large store. This gave them a deeper understanding of how retail industries operate on a day-to-day basis. Following this, the group visited Hourglass Essential Pvt. Ltd., a company with a strong legacy of 25 years in the industry. The students learned that this warehouse is unique as it is the only one authorized to handle the trademark of various companies, which makes its operations highly significant. The visit provided insights into the importance of trademarks in business, the procedures followed for trademark registration, and the meticulous way the company maintains records and manages its clients. The staff of Hourglass Essential also shared their experiences, emphasizing the value of precision, legal compliance, and commitment in maintaining such a specialized service.
